1989 Porsche 944 S Description:

The last year of the 944. This one has had an easy life staying in the garage and being adult driven. It has been somewhat modified and or updated but I have every part to restore the vehicle to stock form if desired. I also have a correct blue leather lace up cover for the steering wheel but have not installed it. It runs terrific and strong with no oil leaks or smoking. Engine compression was checked at around 100k and everything was within specs. Wide fire head gasket was installed for good measure. All regular matinence has been followed over the years and only the best synthetic fluids are used. Redline, Mobil 1, super blue, etc. I thought I would get the car out on the track but never made it. It has spent a lot of time in my garage until this last year when I have started driving it to work (10 min drive) 5 days a week. Ac still blows cold. Transmission and diff are in excellent shape. Brakes perfect. Drives smooth at any speed.Bilstein sport coil over adjustable suspension on all four corners. Camber plates with pillow balls on front. M0 30 968 sway bars front and rear. Chrome molly front a-arms from Lindsey racing. Porsche turbo twist wheels from boxster. 968 mirrors professionally painted body color. Adjustable wastegate from Lindsey racing with dash gauge plate with o2 sensor display and boost knob/gauge (below radio). Many parts have been replaced always with the best quality new parts available. Clutch done at 90k or so. I have many many matinence records. I have a blanket thrown over the back seats in the pictures just because I leave it there to keep the sun off. Back seats are in great condition. Front seats are excellent for the age. Dash has a couple of cracks and I have had the dash carpet on it for the last few years. Fairly new black Porsche floor mats. Shifter leather not torn. Seats not torn and no holes. Linen carpet in good condition. Airbag light came on last year and I have not had a chance to get it back to Porsche in Atlanta to have it checked out. I suspect a sensor but don’t really know. Rock shields replaced 2 years ago and there was some overspray with glue thinner that peeled one of the bump strips a little. Needs a bit of paint touch up. On the bump strips and front from small rock chips. Over all a great car that would be great for a driver or racer either one. More pics and info on request. Email would make pic sending easier.
