1971 Porsche 911 911S Description:
Up for sale is my 1971Porsche 911S Targa, it is a European-market example that I acquired out of Georgia about four or five years ago and subsequently refurbished to stock specifications. The work done to the car included installation of a rebuilt 2.2-liter 911S flat-six, rebuilding the 5-speed manual transmission (both rebuillt by Wayne Baker at Personalized Autohaus), complete tear down and restoration of the suspension and braking systems, and performing a bare-metal repaint in the factory Blue Metallic. The car was driven daily for about a year and a half, I added approximately 2,000 kilometers (~1,200 miles) during that year. The most recent service was performed three months ago which included all the fluids being changed and windshield being replaced (it was chipped while driving it and spread to the point of not being repairable). The car drives even better than it looks and I am only selling it as I need to make more room in my garage. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have and I will respond promptly.
