1978 Porsche 928 With LS3 engine Description:

This project car has a Renegade Hybrid LS3 transplant engine with new clutch, starter, radiator, plus many from parts car. The engine is @ 100lbs lighter and smaller so it rode @ one inch too high. I replaced the shocks and springs with Koni double adjustable and Hypercoil springs to return car to stock height. I have seen no evidence of any body work and only a small amount of rust on the bottom of the hatch. Car needs new paint and the original cork interior is sun damaged and needs a new interior. It now has an electronic digital dash ( the original mileage was 77,000 -the new mileage is 1,600 miles on the new engine). The car has very impressive performance and drives well although 4th synchro is weak. It is road legal and registered in Colorado. The A/C is included but not hooked up. A 1980 donor car and original engine also available.
