Porsche 944 Runs and Drives-Needs Work

1985 Porsche 944 Description:

Up for auction is an '85 Porsche 944; a great project car. This car runs and drives okay. However, it needs a variety of attention and I am starting school with way too many projects at hand. Paint is faded with peeling clear coat. However, the body is solid and rust-free. The bumper is slightly pushed inward (see pictures). The tires need to be replaced and the car needs an alignment. The electric hatch release does not function. The a/c does not work. The original leather seats are in good condition with no cracking, but the dash is cracked. The timing belt was replaced around 1000 miles ago..The gauges work, but not the odometer. The odometer reads 73,309. However, I honestly do not remember when it stopped working. The car also needs an idle control valve, so it surges at idle speed. The clutch/transmission are smooth. The sunroof will require cleaning of the drains so the car sometimes leaks water.
