1974 Porsche 911 S
1974 Porsche 911 S Description:
My grandfather left behind his 1974 Porsche 911 S sunroof coupe which he has owned since almost new. Has 56 thousand original miles with a beautiful color combination of red and tan cloth interior. 1974 had the lowest production of sportomatics. Production ended a few years later and didn't make a come back until the 964 generation. There were two types of sportomatics, in '74 there were the 911 and 911s. Of which the 911 had 150hp with a production of approximately 500 cars. Then there is this 911S which is rated at 175hp and only a production of 217 cars. In total there were approximately 4,900 911 models in '74. This is a very rare car and I haven't seen another like this.
This is a project and does have rust in the lower sections. The suspension and structural components are unaffected.
This is a complete car. Has interior, engine, transmission, suspension, etc. It hasn't ran in the last few years; rolls and steers. Definitely a great car to have in any car collection. Will make for a great conversation explaining to someone that it's an automatic.
