1980 Porsche 924 Turbo Description:

Up for bid is a 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo in original condition. I have been working on it for over a year, but do not have the time or knowledge to get it to the condition I would like. It does not currently run, but cranks and has spark, fuel and air. There are no modifications evident. This car was purchased from the grandson of the original owner and has a clean Washington State title and registration. It has 61,551 original miles, and was thought to run when I purchased it. I have replaced many parts including: Fuel pump, starter, fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, fuel pump relay, Distributor cap and rotor and one fuel injection line. I have many new replacement parts that I have yet to install such as: Timing belt and pulley, headlights, batter cable, misc. suspension parts, etc. Also comes with 944 dash cluster.
This car is being sold as-is with local pickup only and I only accept PayPal for payment of the $750 deposit, and cash for the remaining amount upon pickup. This is an awesome and rare Porsche that is going up in value daily. It has the original Porsche instruction/maintenance books, original tool roll and the original spare tire. It also comes with a black front bra that was mounted in the past and a brown sunroof case. It comes with the original aluminum trash lid wheels and also a set of Porsche Boxter wheels, although spacers will be needed. Additional set of used un-mounted tires included as well.
The body trim has come off and will need to be replaced or adhesive removed. The seats need new covers, the dash is cracked, but the carpet can be salvaged. The Blaupunkt stereo does not work, the electric windows are glitchy and need to be serviced.
Be aware this is a project, the upholstery needs attention as well as the engine. On the bright side, this year of model was fully galvanized so there is virtually no rust. There is some paint damage on the front passenger fender and some dents to the front lower valance, both repairable. The sunroof needs a new seal and there is some surface rust under the car, normal for the age, does not affect performance.
