In 1968 the United States came out with new emission regulations that Porsche’s 911S model was not able to comply with. Porsche Decided to come out with the 911L, the “L” stood for Luxury. This model was basically the 911S with the base model tuned engine.
This Particular Porsche 911L has its original sportamatic transmission and numbers matching engine. The car has been re-sprayed, but in its original silver metallic which looks great. The Engine was rebuilt to a 2.2 Liter a few years ago and runs great. The body is completely straight and has no rust however the front suspension pan has been replaced due to corrosion from battery acid. The suspension pan was replaced years ago and was done very well. Our team at Makellos Classics has recently looked through and serviced the vehicle so it is up to date. This is an excellent car and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
