Loaded. Stock #: V18537 Exterior Color: Mayan Red Interior Color: Camel Tan Body Type: Hardtop Transmission: Turbo 350 Automatic Engine: 403 6.6L Title Condition: Clear 38,079 actual mile survivor. One owner since new. All original condition except maintenance items. They special ordered it with every option except cruise control. I have copy of the original order form, window sticker, (so many options it takes 2 pages) and build sheet still under the seat! We just spent $3,550 servicing the car. Mostly consisting of brakes, fuel system, gaskets, mufflers, fluids and filters.
EXTERIOR: Excellent original body with mostly original paint. The 1/4 panel was repainted because of a parking lot scrape. The body is mint, no rust or damage. The paint was just professionally detailed and shows really well, has gloss finish. The rubber bumpers and spoilers fit real well, there is some paint fade on those. The decals are still in excellent shape, the shaker hood scoop has not been cut open. The glass is all still real clear. Has glass T-tops. The 15x8 snowflake wheels are still polished real nice, has gold accents. Jambs are nice. Weatherstrips are still good, window seal on top of driver door is cracked.
INTERIOR: Deluxe interior that's loaded with features. Has power windows, locks, trunk, tilt formula wheel etc. The seat cushions are still firm, hobnail velour upholstery still shows really well. The original build sheet is still under the front seat! Overall the door panels, plastic trim, carpet is really nice. Has original floormats. The headliner is drooping, they all do from age. The dash area is mint. Has Rally gauges, electric rear window defroster. The machine turned bezel is excellent. Ashtray is not used, lighter was used only once or twice (he blamed it on an old girlfriend in the 80s). The radio was replaced, upgraded 6x9 speakers in the rear deck. no extra speaker holes were cut. Console, vents, door handle bezels, glove box compartment, dash pad are mint.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: #s match 403 with it's original components. We just had new valve cover, oil pan and front engine seals replaced, fresh oil. New radiator and fluid. Master cylinder was replaced, flushed the system with new fluid. Has complete shaker air cleaner assembly with duct work and new filter. Everything is orderly, proper and factory. No custom go fast parts.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Power trunk release in the glove box works, trunk light works. Inside the trunk is excellent original condition. Perfectly clean metal. Original mat and insulation pad under it is mint. Still has the collapsible spare tire with air bottle and the jack is still mounted under the rear deck. Has the original Fisher t-top bags in excellent shape. Original stickers and weatherstrip are still excellent.
UNDERSIDE: Unmolested original underside. The floors, frame rails, rockers are clean metal. Factory seams and spotwelds are clean. Even the drain plugs right behind the rear tire are clean. Still has original catalytic converter, mufflers were just replaced. Has the handling package. Also has disc brakes at all four wheels. We just had the brake system completely gone through- new hoses, calipers, rotors and pads calipers. E-brake is hooked up. Fuel system was flushed, new filter and fuel pump. New trans fluid and filter.
If you appreciate an original survivor you will love this one. Not too often does a true 1 owner, low mile Trans Am loaded with options come along that has been this well preserved. Most were driven into the ground. They are original only once!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. Don't be intimidated, contact sales now for a no pressure, no hassle experience!

About Volo Auto Museum No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB. Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down. Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s. Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
