More links to videos are listed at the end of the description below. This beautiful Pontiac Trans Am Super Duty is 1 of only 943 that were produced in 1974 and 1 of only 731 automatics. It is in excellent condition and even has a little bit of Hollywood history since it wasonce owned by actress Christina Ricci in 2004 (appearing in Mermaids, The Addams Family, Monster, Penelope, Speed Racer and Casper. Most recently she had a starring role in the series Pan Am). We are told that she used this car as her daily driver for 16 months. We think that is kinda cool!
This car has it's original numbers matching SD-455 enginewith partial VIN clearly stamped on the block. The transmission is not numbers matching to the car. It is documented in the Pontiac Historical Society (PHS) and the SD455 Registry. Other documentation includes the PHS documents, the reproduction window sticker, copy of the Christina Ricci title, copy of the check and various invoices. On top of the original, numbers matching block, it has#16 Heads, anLS2 intake and correct, Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor. It also has the correct exhaust manifolds which are currently hooked up to a dual exhaust system that sounds great! It has a very nice muscle car rumble. The engine bay has been detailed very nicely as well. You will be proud to take this car to any car show or cruise in.
PHS listed options on this iconic car include a LS2 455 SD engine backed by a Turbo 400 and 3:08 Positrack, Air Conditioning, Stereo 8 Track Tape, Radio-AM, Roof Molding, Door Edge Guards, Front and Rear Floor Mats, Lamp Group, Front Console, Hood Decal, GR 70-X15 White Letter Steel Belted Radials, Window Sill & Hood Rear Edge Moldings. Added after market options include honey comb wheels, power windows, tilt steering wheel, and power trunk release.
The exterior boasts a gorgeous, show condition, Buccaneer Redpaint job that is about 8 years old but shows as new, beautifully restored honeycomb wheelsand a straight body with no evidence of any damage or rust.The original jack and full-sized spare are in the rust-free trunk and thefactory air conditioningcools as it should.
