I'm selling my 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Custom four-door. I have owned it for about a year and have probably driven it less than 100 miles. I have too many cars and need to sell a few. It runs, drives, stops, and has 57,051 miles. I believe the mileage to be accurate for I have a copy of an original Ohio title from 1991 showing 55,732 miles at that time. The previous 80 year old owner had the engine and transmission rebuilt as well as new carpet, new headliner and new seats. I have all the paperwork documentation. I think the White Mist paint is original, the Firegold paint has been touched up and the previous owner just sprayed primer over any scratches (see pictures). It has a 287cu.in. V-8 with the Hydra-Matic transmission. Options include: sunvisor, gas door guard, bumper guards, white side wall tires, traffic light viewer, rear seat speakers, electric clock, illuminated hood ornament, courtesy lights, emergency brake signal, and the under hood trouble light.
