1968 PONTIAC LE MANS -- 22 THOUSAND ACTUAL MILES--ORIGINAL OWNER ALL ORIGINAL BEAUTIFUL CAR. BOUGHT NEW IN BUTTE MONTANA PHS DOCUMENTS DRIVEN EVERY SUMMER Aunt Maggie was a school teacher in Butte Montana when she bought her 1968 Pontaic Le Mans. I had my drivers permit and drove her at 15 yrs old Fast forward in time -- Aunt Maggie died in 1985 and Uncle Joe in 2005 at the age of 95. In this time the Le Mans was cared for by Uncle Joe. He loved the car because of his beloved sister. I got the Le Mans in 2005. The first time driving her the radiator sprung a leak and the AM radio stopped working. -- how strange. Condition of the car is very very nice. In the 70"s she was backed it to at -- yes the supermarket . Damaged right rear quarter and supreme body work was preformed.. The interior is very nice and original . Car is solid and not rusted. Car was repainted many years ago ( maybe the supermarket dent) and shines nice for its age. The pictures range 15 years of ownership The hub cap pictures are in 2005. I know this car very well . have done many things to better her. I have complete sound proofed and sealed the trunk and rear wheel wells area. With plans to do complete under carriage and inner wheel wells. Mechanicall 350 V8 2 barrel carb. and 2 speed auto tranny. Single exhaust 14 inch wheels with hub caps. Being a GTO guy all my life I had to add the following items to the Le Mans to give her a little personality change CORRECT INTAKE MANIFOLD AND Q-JET CARB FOR 68 GTO NEW RADIATOR NEW TIRES BF T/A TIRES POWDER COATED RALLY 11 RIMS MAGNIFLOW DUAL EXHAUST NEW BRAKES Of course all the original parts will go with her. She can be driven anywhere right now---I will not send her out of the USA........
