1969 Pontiac Trans Am Description:

1969 Trans Am convertible, Pontiac Stroker, 4 speed. Only 8 69 Trans Am convertibles were ever made, this is not a real Trans Am, with that being said please read the entire ad before contacting me. Im sure I am missing some things that were done during this ground up restoration but I think I covered most of it. I am also limited by the number of pics I can post but I have 90+ pics of this car and can take more at request. 1971 Pontiac 400 block, 494 Cubic Inch, 10:1 compression (for 93 pump gas), RPM 4.5'' stroker crank, punched 0.060, Ross pistons, Eagle forged H-beam rods, (Stroker kit from Butler Performance). ARP rod bolts, High volume oil pump, comp cams 274h hydraulic flat tappet cam with matching valve springs, Harland Sharpe 1.65 roller rockers, Cometic triple layer head gaskets, ARP head bolts, 1971 cast #96 heads port matched 3 angle valve job and Ferrea valve (2.11 1.77), Edelbrock performer RPM aluminum intake, Quick Fuel 850 CFM carb, HEI ignition, 8mm wires, internally regulated alternator, 3 row Aluminum radiator, long tube headers with 2.5 inch dual exhaus, 2 chamber fully welded mufflers, topped off with factory chrome valve covers, Trans Am ram air pan, power steering, factory fan shroud, Pontiac silver blue metallic paint, etc. I wanted it to look as close to factory as possible. I do have the factory crank if for some reason you would like to go back to standard stroke. This set up has great street manners and even on the hottest days in stop and go traffic going to car shows it never gets hot. Muncie M-21 4 speed, 11 inch street strip clutch, Hurst competition plus shifter, 8.5 10 bolt with 3.08 gears. It's a perfect set up for cruising, 60 mph is a comfortable 2000 RPM and there is more than enough power to scare anyone in the passenger seat. It has all new brakes all the way around factory 10.5 inch disc brakes in the front and rebuilt drum brakes in the rear, all new lines, new 11" booster and factory style master cylinder. The suspension is basically all new as well, new body bushings, new springs front and rear and all new bushings. (springs haven't settled yet hence the high stance). It has a rock solid body that is laser straight, the paint is probably a 9/10, all the chrome is new, new emblems, new marker lights, almost all of the cosmetic things on the car are new. However, It has factory T3 headlights still in it, and all the lights and signals work perfectly. The wheels are 15x7 with new trims, lugs and centers wrapped in new cooper cobra 245/60r15 tires. Less than 500 miles on them. The interior is in very nice condition new seat covers new door panels new carpet new dash pad, the rest is nice original stuff. It has an oil pressure and temp gauge hidden in the glove box. Convertible top is brand new installed by Classic Automotive and has an upgraded pump.
