1979 Pontiac Trans Am Description:

Beautiful restored 79 ws 6 trans am from Minnesota originally. I have owned many of these cars and this is one of the cleanest you will find in the Cleveland Ohio area for sure. The entire underneath of the car was media blasted and painted chassis black. It is spotless! All new brake and fuel lines and hoses and tranny lines as well. Only 1 2x4 inch patch was needed on passenger toeboard from a leaking heater core. When I pulled the original carpet up the floors were shiny white factory paint still (see pict). Here is an honest description of the body, I put in two small 2 x 2 inch patches. 1 is under the passenger rear wheel flare, the other is at the bottom of passenger fender, thats it. Everything else is original perfect metal, doors,trunk,quarters... The car was repainted in original cameo white with quality PPG paint and primers. Looks stunning. Brand new BFGoodridge tires on freshly restored snowflakes. Of course all new decals and weather strip. New windshield. The interior is all new except original door panels which were nice enough to use. Factory am/fm CB radio with factory speakers works fine. I am not sure about the CB because I never hooked up a antennae. Power locks do not work anymore. The original 403 was rebuilt before I got the car for sure. I pulled the valve covers off to change the valve cover gaskets and the heads were spotless. I cant imagine it being that clean with 99000 miles, and all the gaskets were not original on the rest of the engine. I did have the transmission rebuilt with a shift kit. The car runs awesome with no noises or ticks. Cruises down the freeway at 70mph like a dream. The cruise control even works,(most of the time) lol! The AC blows cold too. I have both build sheets from the car. the one from under the gas tank is hard to read but its amazing it was still there. I have thousands in receipts that come with the car too. Read my feedback, I just sold a 79 last year for 30K sight unseen and always have great feedback and happy buyers. This is ready for enjoyment. thanks.
