Offered for sale is this very clean 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary Edition. This Trans Am is one of just 5683 Y89 optioned examples. Finished in silver over silver this Trans Am is stunning. The paint and trim show very well on this example. The original 185 hp 403 cubic inch V8 runs very well with good oil pressure and proper temperatures. The 3-speed automatic transmission is smooth and predictable. All accessories are in working order on this well... optioned classic Pontiac including the ice cold air conditioning. This car has the correct spare wheel and jack along with the original bags for the removable roof panels. The 15 inch Air Flow wheels are in excellent condition. All Y89 examples come with the WS6 handling package which includes stiffer rear leaf springs; a .75-inch rear anti-roll bar (up from .625); nylon end-link bushings instead of rubber bushings for the existing 1.25-inch front anti-roll bar; firmer dampers; fixed ratio (14:1) steering box; and rear disc brakes a new feature for 1979 models.
