1975 Pontiac Le Mans Sport Coupe Description:

Up for auction is my 1975 LeMans Sport Coupe. This is a survivor with only 34,431 miles. Based on how the car looks and drives, I firmly believe this to be the actual miles.
EXTERIOR: The paint is original, and while not perfect, shows well with good shine, as you can see in the photos. There is only a small ding on the trunk lid next to the truck lock, and I couldn't get it to show up in the photos. Otherwise, the body panels are very straight with no rust. The doors shut perfectly, no need to slam them. The panel gaps are good and even. The glass is fine, with no cracks or chips. I have new trim moldings for the opera windows, but have not installed them. They will be included with the car. The bumper rub strips are gouge-free and the chrome on the bumpers is good. The rally wheels are in good condition.
INTERIOR: The seats are custom bucket seats by ProCar. They are very comfortable, with 3-way height adjustment and recline feature. They have good lumbar support. I'm 6'5" tall, so I had the seat brackets modified to set the seats rearward and downward almost 2" for more head and leg room. They can still be adjusted upward and forward if needed. The large aftermarket console has ample storage and two cup holders. The rear seat is in excellent condition. The dash is perfect with no cracks and the gauge faces are bright and clear. The radio works and the a/c blows cold. The factory cruise control also works. The headliner, door panels and carpet are all nice.
MECHANICAL: The car is powered by a 350 4bbl and 3-speed automatic. I had my mechanic inspect the car three weeks ago, and he changed the oil, installed a new fuel filter, adjusted the choke and tuned the carb. He said it "drives like a dream". It starts easily, the carb kicks up on high idle, and there is no smoke from the exhaust. The engine runs quiet and smooth, as does the transmission. The brakes stop evenly, and are discs in front. In short, it drives like you would expect a 34,000 mile car to drive.
OVERALL: These GM Colonnade cars are scarce, especially one of this caliber with such low miles and no rust issues. This is one of those cars that has great eye appeal, is very comfortable, has some great options, and won't break the bank. You could easily spend $50,000 or more on a GTO, and then be afraid to drive it. This LeMans is comfortable, driveable, affordable and stress-free. Just slip behind the wheel and enjoy!
IF YOU CANNOT PAY FOR THIS CAR, DO NOT BID! An accepted bid is a legal contract to buy. This is not a game.
