1987 Pontiac Trans Am Description:

1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA, ws6, steel top, 5.7 tpi, 700r4 automatic, 4 wheel disc brakes. This was the first year for the trans am gta. This is a factory white car with the grey interior. per the vin number car is factory 5.7 tpi 4 wheel disc brakes. Car has tons of option to include power steering, power disc brakes, positraction, tilt wheel, air condition, factory tach and gauges. We have bought nice gm original fog lights to put back on the car. also have bought extra pieces for the car to include some ground effects, door panels, emblems, nos gm hood cable and misc parts. I have not had the car running but was told it did run and had a noise in the engine. I had planned on having a shop do a ls swap. I bought the car to fix up and make a daily driver but recently had a job schedule and assignment change. I no longer have the time to spend on it and would like to see it go to somebody that has the time. Please see the pictures for overall condition. In my opinion the body is nice, no obvious rust other than light surface rust do to paint flaking off. The hood cable is currently broke and hood won't open. The tilt wheel loosened up and needs some work. This would be a great project for ls swap. restore to original or make a weekend warrior. I have a clear virginia title. upon the sale I can store the car up to 30 days if needed to arrange pick up.
