1965 Pontiac GTO PHS Documented

1965 Pontiac GTO Sport Coupe Description:

Up for auction is a great 65 GTO Post project. In this auction you will recieve a rolling 65 LeMans body with title and a PHS documented GTO tag and title set. You will recieve two titles in this auction.
The GTO was Montero Red with Red interior 4 bbl 335 HP 389 with manual trans and 3:23 gear. The body was badly rusted so this nice 95% rust free body was located to build the car.
The donor car is originally from Mississippi and is very sold. The floors are almost perfect with only two visible holes about a quarter in size. The trunk floor is exceptionally nice and only has one or two small holes.
The body was stripped to bare metal, necessary body work was performed and it was put in 2K primer. The RH quarter panel is original and appears to have no rust issues. The LH quarter has a new skin professionally installed and it looks great. I believe the car was side swiped at some time. There is a dent in the RH lower rear quarter.
The roof and around the front/rear windows look excellent with no rust.
The doors are beautiful. Rust free and straight.
The deck lid has no rust holes but it was stripped to bare metal and never primed so now it has surface rust.
The hood is a nice straight, rust free LeMans hood. The original GTO hood was too rusty to salvage.
The LH front fender has no rust holes but it has a dent and some surface rust.
The RH front fender has some rust holes at the heel of the fender (pictured)
The car has NO engine, NO transmission and NO seats or door panels.
The rear bumper and tail lights are included.
The car has all of the window trim and the rare post window trim in good condition.
There are NO wheel well or rocker moldings
The body has factory AC and some of the parts are missing.
I also have 3 other color options for GTO tags. Fontaine Blue, Blue Charcoal and Iris Mist. They are 4 bbl manual transmission cars with no AC. These options will cost extra $$ to be discussed after the car is purchased. I can also install professionally and legally install the tags for you with the correct rivets for extra $$.
