1972 Pontiac Le Mans GTO Description:

Up for sale is my 1972 Pontiac Lemans with the factory T 41 GTO front clip. I have owned this car for 24 years. It is built for street strip.Body- solid floors ( passenger section replaced years ago), solid trunk pan ( original) and original quarters with some minor repair to the bottom passenger side years ago. Paint is 11 years old and was not a perfect job. Overall, very solid. Does have some bubbles popping up here and there. Hood is fiberglassInterior- needs some seat covers . Carpet and dashcovet not that old. Has 6 point bar installedEngine- 462 with mild ported 62 cast heads. Victor intake, 1050 dominator, MSD 6 AL, solid cam, runs strongRear- 12 bolt with moser axles and spooltransmission - turbo 350 with 3500 converterWeld prostars with drag radials ( a few years old) and radials on the front.Has a 15 gsllon fuel cell in the trunk but the pan was not cut.I built this car so that it could always be returned to factory.Issues- radiator support is rusty below the battery. Small rust popping up in areas lik, trunk lid, lower passenger door, around back window chrome.It's a great car and fires up every time. Runs hard, drives great. Ask questions !! I invite any personal inspections or third party inspections. I am pricing it reasonably. No warranty
Car has been at best 11.19 in the quarter mile. 11.30's- 40's in the heat. The pictures of the roof seams are a skim of putty cracking on the lead seams. This car was originally Sundance orange with white vinyl top.
