1990 Pontiac Firebird Description:
Third Generation Pontiac Firebird.This car is a survivor car, unmolested and maintained since new.
I am the second owner of this car. It was purchased new in Florida. The owner moved to Louisiana and I purchased the car from him in 2010. I drove the car daily and my daughter drove it in High School and her first two years of College.
It is a Factory T-top car with automatic transmission, all ground effects like a Trans Am with a 3.1 Litre V6.
The first owner meticulously maintained the car. I have all the original documentation when the car was new including a copy of the window sticker and factory build sheet (see pictures)
Here is a list of all the parts that have been replaced since 2010:
Belt Tensioner, New Tires (2 years ago) New Muffler (3 years ago), Spark Plugs, Distributor, Coil and Injectors (July 2018) Water Pump (2018) Headlight motors rebuilt (both sides) 2017, Fuel Pump (4 years ago) Radio upgrade to Pioneer Bluetooth, Alternator, EGR valve, Transmission flush and filter (July 2018), Rear Hatch electric pulldown motor replaced 4 years ago, Air Conditioning converted to R134A (with new compressor, accumulator and lines along with new electric fan motor), New Electric fan for cooling system.
Oil changed every 3K miles.
The car needs upholstery work and headliner work. The motor starts and runs, however it is down on power and may need work on the injection or the intake system to improve performance. The speedometer works, but the odometer stopped at 77,000 miles. I estimate that it has about 110,000 miles and will sign an odometer statement to that effect. It is not a new car, so it needs some TLC to bring it back to pristine condition. All major work has already been done and the car has been meticulously maintained.
