1975 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANSAM

This is a survivor car, not a show car but a very sturdy driver. This Trans Am is all original (minus allthe stickers and some much-neededsuspension upgrades). The car is mostly sorted, many new parts and repairs. All numbers matching car, engine has been thoroughly rebuilt by a machine shop in Modesto CA. Estimated 300 bhp. New clutch, original transmission and linkage, new exhaust, new shocks, new springs, new upper and lowersuspension arms, new brakes,etc. Chassis and body are solid, very minor surface corrosion, some chips and nicks. Still needs new sun visors, jack, several other minor items. Shaker hood and airintake are original. Intake block panel is removed because it looks tons better without it.Carburetor is original GM Quadra-Jet 4 bbl, rebuilt. Car starts immediately, idles smoothly, pulls evenly and powerfully through the RPM range. I have too many projects and this car isn't getting the attention or drive time it deserves. Well over $20k in this car.

This Trans Am is a joy to drive, plenty of power, all the rumble this car came with when new, steers properly and tracksstraight. Very good straight line acceleration, solid brakes, corners surprisingly well for a 43-year-old muscle car. The 4 speed has a Hurst linkage mated to a stock 4 transmission, shifts effortlessly, clutch engages/disengages smoothly. It's hard to find a solid4 speed Trans Am with air conditioning.
