Convertible, 350, Auto, power top, front disc brakes, AWESOME driver!
1968 Pontiac Firebird -- Description:
Here is my 1968 Firebird convertible. I've had it for 8 years. It is an excellent driver. Runs and shifts as it should. Goes down the road straight with a straight steering wheel. Not a particularly fast car, but it goes when you need it to with no rattles, smoke, or odd noises.This car gets an amazing amount of attention wherever it goes. I'd give the paint a solid 8/9. No bubbles or ripples that I can see. As you can see, it shines great. I had the top put on when I bought it. It's only ever up when I put it away for winter. I've never gotten it wet (really), but it probably leaks a bit around the edges as they all did/do.
As nice as this car is, it's not a 100 point restoration. The body work I know of includes both rear quarters, the driver's side floor, and the piece under the windshield. I'm sure there is some body filler, but it's not a bondo queen. The trunk appears original.
The engine and transmission work as they should. It runs and shifts smoothly.

Here's the technical details:
- '72 350 4bbl Pontiac engine (not original)
- Turbo 350 3-spd Auto
- Power front Disc Brakes
- Power top
- Newer windshield, all windows work but the rears need a little help sometimes
- 8.5" 10 bolt open differential w/3.08 gears
- Has all four cocktail shakers (vibration dampeners)
- The factory radio is not connected. Aftermarket stereo in glove box with two speakers in middle of dash and two Bose speakers on rear floor. It can be controlled with the remote even with the glove box door shut.
- 80's IROC power steering box for improved feel
- Internal regulated alternator and aftermarket HEI ignition.
- Everything works. Passed MA safety inspection 5/18
- Clear MA title. Mileage is listed as accurate, but who knows after 50 years.

Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 7 daysof the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
PAYMENT METHODS:
The remaining balance is to be paid via Bank wire transfer or cash in person. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will make the car available to the shipping company as requested after final payment.
