1971 Pontiac Firebird Esprit Description:

1971 Pontiac Firebird Esprit. 400 CI engine with a mild cam. Not original motor but from a 1976 Bonniville. Automatic 350 Turbo transmission. This car went through a 16 month restoration by a local restorer 4 years ago. There has been under 1000 miles on the vehicle since. The paint is Dupont and was 1200 a pint. The strips are painted. This car was a Wyoming vehicle that was rust free. The floor boards and trunk are all original. The drivers side quater was replaced because of a dent. The hood is original to the car and the doors were swapped out for electric. There is a small dent on the drivers fender from something falling on it. The gas sending unit needs to be replaced. The interior was redone in black vinyl, Black carpet and headliner. The dash needs replacing and the heater needs to be hooked up. This was an A-C car but no longer hooked up. The engine is strong. The tranny is smooth shifting and the mufflers have a grawl. The car has been stored in a heated garage since the resto. This is an old school muscle car! It gets thumbs up all the time. The paint is not perfect but could be with a little work. Additional pics available on request. I have a book of reciepts.
