1974 GTO - ORIGINAL 94000 miles!!! (NOVA)

1974 Pontiac GTO Base Ventura Description:

1974 Pontiac GTO. This Nevada / Arizona GTO is one of only 5000 coupes from 1974. A one year only model makes it one of the rarest GTOs ever made. It is the original color (rare Regatta Blue- Code F) paint and interior (white / black - Code 522 A52, bench seat). Engine and trans have never been out of it. It runs and drives great. Pontiac Historic paperwork shows this car is 100% matching equipment and build sheet. The only difference is the addition of the trim rings - they are the CORRECT (very rare) and were added as a dealer option. Wheels and rings are all original as well as the drive line. Factory functional Ram Air works great. Mash that pedal on the right and the Ram Air door opens and the quadrajet receives as much fresh as as it can swallow - and you can see the flapper door flip open wide - VERY COOL!!! This car was built to be as light as possible as it was a base Ventura - no additional body or bumper trim and no heavy buckets and console (150lbs). Pontiac built a special GTO 350 4BBL for the GTO only. It was timed within 1/10 of a second slower than the HO Trans Am in the 1/4 mile - this one was ordered to be as light as they come. If you want to win your local car shows and be the only one there this is the car for you. It is NOT a nut and bolt frame off restoration.
I purchased the car from a man in Las Vegas Nevada who had owned it for several years. He had purchased it from the widow of his Vegas neighbor who had owned it for the past 15+ years. It has lived in the dry desert its whole life - as you can see from the pictures. With new paint, interior, tires, exhaust (SS), and all mechanics as needed this car is in great shape and ready to enjoy.
These cars a crazy expensive to restore because of all the very difficult to find one year only parts. As you can see in the pictures I replaced the bumper filler panels with custom made metal - the originals (included with sale) were warped and ugly - like usual. The new panels are beautiful and you cannot tell the difference unless you know these cars. I also had a custom 3D print of the front plastic air intake that I could not find anywhere. These two upgrades were over $1000.00 each.
