1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Y88 Description:
1978 Trans Am SE Y88 4spd 1 of 126, car is numbers matchin, with PH, equipped with ps,pb,a/c,tilt steering,am/fm radio,T-tops(gold/glass), miles are 66,260 and believed to be true.Originally sold at Harper-Campbell pontiac-GMC in Edmond OK. Sold to the first owner that lived in Joplin,Missouri and i still have one of the two original tag from him dated June 1978 Missouri, he was nice to pass it with the ca, he keep the other one in his wall.
Car was rotisserie restored and finish in April 2017, i have a file of all receipts and work done to the car. Body has no rust all original panels marked with julian dates and y88.
Engine,trans have partial vin,rear end,intake,exhaust manifolds,carburetor are all original to the car an, i have pictures of all the partial vins, casting numbers and casting dates.
T-tops are the original Gold glass and only used on the Y88. the wheels that are on the car now are not the factory ones but i like those better than the original ones that are all gold except the outer lip and i have the original ones,just that for my taste its to much gold i will include them with sale they are unmounted.
This car drives,handles and looks awesome,needs nothing, engine idles perfect with no issues or surges has excellent response and tork everything works,has no issues, exhaust is magnaflo stainless steel mufflers, all fluids are ne, belts are new, also have a stripe kit that goes with car in case any get damage,no bird, please look at the video it will reveal more of the car and give you a better idea of the cars condition.
