1968 Pontiac GTO 2 door Description:

1968 GTOThis car was redone in 1999/2000 and looks really nice. It has its rebuilt 400 YS engine with the 400 automatic transmission and factory Hurst his/hers shifter with console. Car was originally Vedero green with gold interior, now repainted in a dark green metallic with a black interior. Has power steering and power brakes and hideaway headlights.
Condition -Car looks very nice, as I said it was redone back about 17 years ago by the previous owner. At that time I was told engine was gone through. Cam was added also has an edelbrock torker 2 intake holly dual feed carb electronic ignition and an edelbrock dress up kit as seen in pics. Engine runs fantastic!Transmission shift perfect as well. Has a 10 bolt rear with a chrome cover on it. Newer dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. Power steering and brakes work great. All lights and signals work, as do the gauges and the radio. Only things NOT working are the horn and the hideaway lights don't close on there own they do open with the switch though. Hood tach lights up but the original dash tach is working and hooked up. You could hook up the hood tach and put a rally clock where the dash tach is currently.
Interior is great, headliner, package tray, door panel, carpet and seats all real nice as is the dash pad and console. Has the original retractable seat belts and a newer grant wood steering wheel. Very nice inside and comfortable.
Car runs and drives really nice. Very comfortable to sit in goes down the road straight brakes work great as well. Real nice running and driving car.
Paint is holding up nic, very nice shine and nice job laying the metallic down. I believe it's a base coat clear coat. Front bumper has chips and cracking and could use repainted there is a spot on the hood that was touched up about the size of a 50 cent coin. There are a few small bubbles on the car, passenger side bottom edge of the door and a few small ones on the hood. None on the quarters or wheel lips. Everything else looks good. Floors were repaired on the passenger side in the foot area and drivers tow are, metal over the old rusted are, It's soli, probably not the best repairs but very common. Rest of floors look pretty good. Trunk floor could be replaced it's the worst area by far on the car and has 2split seems over the right rear wheel as seen in the pics. Frame looks very nice as do the fenders core support.
Overall a very nice lookin, running and driving REAL and nicely optioned GTO that you can take to the cruise nites, car shows or Sunday drives and have a ton of fun. This thing sounds mean! Take care of a few of the above items and take this car to the next level or enjoy it and be proud.
