1964 Pontiac Tempest Description:

Nice, solid original Tempest Custom. NO BUMPERS
It did run when I parked it several years ago but I did not try to start it as I am figuring whoever buys it doesn't want the 6 cylider engine.
As you can see it needs a trunk pan.
I went around the outside of the car with a magnet. The quarters are rust free, the rear wheel lips are rust free! The trunk drop extensions are rust free. The door corners are rust free and bottom edge of the door has only surface rust. The floors are near perfect, only surface rust on the bottom. The underside of the car has surface rust, no rusted out areas. Both fenders have had repair done to the bottom area under the louvers. Trunk lip only has surface rust
The trim around the windshield and the rear window has no dings or dents, just needs polishing!
This is a great body to start with for a GTO clone. I have the anodized aluminum trim that goes around the door and qtr windows but it needs restoring. I just have to many projects.
I believe the parts on this car are worth twice what I am asking. What are rust free quarters worth??
What you see in the pictures is what is for sale in the listing. I have available for extra cost: buckets seats, a 1964 389 block, heads, timing cover, tri power intake, four speed shifter. I may have a GTO hood available. I have the GTO tail panel section that accepts the GTO tail lights, it does need some work.
If someone wanted to make a GTO out of this I have most of what is needed and would make a package deal for everything.
