1969 Pontiac lemans Description:

Le Mans (GTO CLONE)

I have owned this car since 1990 and have a clean NJ title in my name.

The car was last registered and driven in 1982. The goal was to build aGTO Clone pro touring car without cutting up a real GTO. The body

work was started and nearly finished before life got in the way And the

car has sat in the garage ever since. It has a running 350 Pontiac and

Muncie 4 Speed the engine I was told was rebuilt and has very low

miles. It will start right up and run and sounds good. It does have a rear

main seal leak and carb needs replacing or rebuild from sitting. It has a

12 bolt posi rear and was told it had 5:13 gears. I replaced both rear outerwheel wells and replaced both rear quarter panels with replacement halfquarter stripped and repaired both doors, deck lid, and GTO hood fittingit with a hood tack. Body worked everything primed and blocked sandedand sealed. Doors, jams, front cowl and

underside of deck lid trimmed out in color and new door gaskets and

trunk weather stripping installed Front and rear window trays were

stripped repaired where needed painted and original glass reinstalled.

Roof stripped painted and new vinyl roof installed. I have new black seatskins still in the box. Rear fiberglass deck lid spoiler, hood tack. Originaldoor panels complete with GTO emblems. I have the GTO rear quartermarker lights. The interior floor is solid and needs only a small repairdone on the passenger side foot well. The trunk floor is solid with somepitting. I have new replacement front fenders that have not been fittedyet. And it has a good GTO front bumper. Rear bumper also in goodshape. I have many but not all parts to complete. The next step was tolift body off frame sand blast box and paint frame and install newsuspension. I feel I have given an accuratehonest description of the car.It is being sold As is and is being sold locally as well and I reserve theright to end auction at any time.
