1995 Pontiac Trans Am
1995 Pontiac Trans Am Description:
This Trans Am runs and drives like brand new. 44K original miles. The paint is glossy throughout, The interior is a 10 of 10. I am the second owner. Every deficiency down to the smallest detail, that I am aware of, is listed below.
Deficiencies
The gloss of the paint is 10 of 10. Overall I would give the paint a 8 out of 10. There are a couple of small rock chips on the hood. There are some scratches on the roof that are hard to see. The front and rear bumpers are a slightly different shade of black than the rest of the car. I've read that this is a common problem on these cars. This condition can only be seen in the right light at a certain angle.
The passenger side window motor is weak.
The struts for the hatch do not work. ( Hatch won't stay up)
The "low coolant" light is on.It's the sensor. I may have this fixed before sale.
Repairs (New Parts)
The car sat up for a long time. I have spent the last 4,000 miles driving it around and working out all the bugs.
New A/C compressor and orificetube
New fuel pump
New fuel pressure regulator
New battery
New plugs and wires
New transmission mount
I have the receiptsfor these items. (Work done by professionals)
This Trans Am is super clean, rides smooth and the steering is tight. The leatheris still soft. I also have the original wheels which are basicallythe same rim except they're silver, not chrome, I'll let you decide which you want to take with you. The tires on the original wheels have 100% tread.
