1973 Plymouth Cuda /1970 AAR pro street tribute.
This car has been completely custom built from the ground up.
It's taken many years to build this beautiful car. The entire front end: firewall, cowl, inner fenders, radiator support, both front fenders, crossmember, and main floor is new AMD sheet metal. The trunk lid also is new and the lower rear 1/4's have been replaced.
Numbers matching 340 block that has been bored and stroked to 416 cu. in. The heads are edelbrock EDE-61729 Victor series heads with super victor intake and FiTech Go EFI 8 Pro fuel Injection, and breather. 11.8:1 compression set up to run on E85 or high octane fuel.The transmission is a TCI street fighter 727 with shift kit and TCI street fighter 3000 stall torque converter.Driveshaft is custom made by Pattersons in Plainfield, IN.Rear end is a modified Ford 9" with Strange 31 spline axles and QA1 adjustable coil overs, Moser differential, 4.11 gears. It also has Chassis Engineering ladder suspension, Aerospace disc brakes in all four corners, Willwood Master Cylinder, custom driveshaft loop, 10 gallon aluminum fuel cell in trunk, battery relocated to trunk with battery cut off and terminals in rear pan. There's a lot of polished aluminum under the hood and custom made panels.
Exhaust is TTI step headers with Borla SS exhaust and mufflers.
Exterior is all steel except the hood and wing which is fiberglass.Paint colors are 2002 Plymouth Prowler orange metallic pearl and 2005 Dodge gunmetal gray metallic pearl. The AAR stripes are custom made in a vinyl gray metallic that matches perfectly. Lights are all LED's, headlights and driving lights also have halos, rears are made by Digitails and has a custom LED racetrack around the rear ( like the new Chargers).New chrome bumpers and wheel trim.
Wheels and tires: rims are Welds Draglites 15x4 front and 15x12 on rear. 235/60R15 Mickey Thompson radial tires on front and Hoosier Quick Time Pro 29x14.5x15 on rear.
Interior is custom with a stock look. The dash has been upgraded to Autometer gauges, dash pad is the original and has one crack that's been filled by the speaker. Has a nice cover for the dash also. Seats are custom orange and black racing seats with 4 point harness. Center console is original with a carbon fiber overlay, B&M shifter, and a switch for the line lock and Rev Limiter.Back section is all aluminum with custom roll cage, 24" tubs, and black carpet throughout. Have spare steel modified hood, fuel pump, and some misc spares to go with car.
This Car has been in numerous car shows and has won over 36 trophies including the 2015 Word of Wheels (which it won its category), 2015 NMCA (won 1st place), and is always at the top! It's also been in the September/October 2015 issue of Tubbed magazine and Pro Street calendar..
