1966 Plymouth Fury Sport Fury - NO RESERVE

1966 Plymouth Fury Sport Fury Description:

I am the 3rd owner. The Sport Fury was built in Michigan, sold by a dealer in Nebraska to a female school teacher(owner #1)in South Dakota. It was then sold to her neighbor (owner #2). Both owners kept the car stored in a garage and drove sparingly. No rust on the body panels or frame. I only found one area in the truck that did rot through due to rear tire throwing dirt. It has been repaired.
The last owner #2 had the car repainted over 8 years ago and it holds a beautiful gloss on the bluemetallicpaint. There are imperfectionsinthe paint that I have posted inphotos.Some cracks, chips and flaws that come with car doors and other mishaps.
I am only selling the car as I now have a teenage driver and the Fury is being sacrificed to cover new expenses. I have invested good time and money to make this Fury a great driver - and it is! The 383 has power to spare and you can spin the tires if you like. Interioris a 9 out of 10. The front & rear seats were redone about the same time as the paint. Headliner is perfect.The glass is complete with no cracks. Everything works - radio, heater, blower,gauges, lights, turn signals (fender style). Only theclockneedsa rebuild. Tourqflite trasmission is smooth as is the reardifferential.

This car is a head turner and you willreceivemany thumbs up and compliments as you drive it.Let's face it, there are very few of these Sport Fury's around especially in thiscondition.I have done my best to document some of the imperfections but you may find more. I encourage a full vehicle inspection from an outside company. However, for a 53 year old car, it holds its own it 2019! I hope it finds a good home.
