V8 engine producing 335hp and backed by a proper 4-speed manual transmission. This Road Runner features a frame-off restoration and an overhauled engine that sports new pistons, new valves, new cam, new bearings, new oil pump, and a new water pump. The original alternator, carburetor, and distributor are still a part of the engine as well,... the car still features the original 4-speed transmission and rear end. The exhaust system has been custom made to duplicate the original, including the Chrysler stamped mufflers. Original stainless and chrome trim, handles and bumpers, tail lamps, reverse lamps, and mirrors all adorn this car. The original dash has been restored and the original heater box has been overhauled. New fuel lines, brakes lines, correct date coded wires, and correct hoses finish out this fantastic example of an American classic. The 1969 Plymouth Road Runner was named the Motor Trend car of the year and came in 3 different styles. Looks from the previous year were changed slightly with an updated grille and tail.
