1966 Plymouth Barracuda Description:

For sale is my 1966 Plymouth Barracuda, we are selling several cars from our collection to make room for some new additions. We have taken these cars from local sellers and mildly restored them, some of them a full restoration. This 1966 is a story to tell, we purchased this car from the original owner. Her husband had recently passed away at 91 years old, before he passed, he covered the entire car, ( including the rubber and chrome ) in thick wax, before he stored is in the garage. we found it, and purchased it with intention of keeping it original, but we were asked by the women to " make it what he wanted " so we did. we brought the car home, and removed all of the wax to finds that the chrome, moldings, body panels, bumpers, etc were all in exceptional condition. the lower quarters were rusted out, and the sides of the car had chrome strips installed with screws to protect the paint, this left holes in the body. finding this we decided to break the car down and paint it exterior ( no engine compartment or trunk ). all of the bodywork is perfect, no bondo, everything done right, that being said, all of the chrome, trim, glass, rubber, etc are factory original. The interior is also factory original, it is immaculate, AC does not work, I wasn't getting into all of that but all parts are present. The drive line is what the car was born with, the commando sticker was added by the previous owner, so we left it alone. the car has been mechanically gone though, it runs and drives like its1966 when your behind the wheel. the wheels and exhaust, and stripes ( stickers)notfactorycorrect,but they are period fitting and add a lot of POP to the barracuda. please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
