The man responsible for this car being built is Wayne Kirby. He worked as the head mechanic at Webb Chrysler Plymouth in Kennewick, WA.Whenhe saw the new 1970 Barracuda he went right to the owner and sat down and ordered this car. He optedfor the 8 3/4 rear which was lighter than the Dana and easy gear changingfor street use or racing. He also went with black wheels as he knew he was going to install American Racingwheels. After receiving the car, he put headersonandswappedthe3.23gearsto 4.88.
