1967 Plymouth Belvedere II Hardtop Description:

67 Belvedere II
Here we have a very unusual/rare 67 Belvedere II. This car is the most original car I've come across in years.Original all numbers matching front to back.383, automatic 727, air conditioning, power steering, standard brakes, Pearl white interior.
It was purchased in Jax beach Florida in October 1966 and spent most of its life in NC. 37 years of that in a hay barn covered up with a tarp. Then it was sold to a gentleman in Sunset beach NC that owned it for 2 years. He had it stripped and painted Sunset Orange Metallic Pearl. (The paint looks orange at one angle then maroon.)At which time I purchased it and finished it.
What makes this car unusual/rare is it has the Certificate card with original owners name, 2 fender tags one of which states "special handling car" and 3 build sheets (2 are near mint condition). Even found original carpet tag still on carpet! Only 5% of cars built in 67 had AC!
There has been some parts replaced due to ware and tear -as in headliner, seat covers, carpet, steering wheel, fuel tank, carburetor, fuel pump, exhaust and tips, washer fluid tank, brakes, and a few other items. Most of the parts that have been replaced I have in a box that will go with the car.All the trim inside and out is original including bumpers, mirrors, fender bullet turn light indicators, grill, taillights, and gas tank lid/lock I even have the original hubcaps.Everything on this beauty works including the original AM radio, trunk light, interior lights, and exterior lights. The clock sometimes works. The wheels are 15" period correct Keystone Classic's with almost new tires.
Oh and did I mention that the car is believed to have under 9k ORIGINAL MILES!!How do I know this? Believe me, I've built Mopar cars for years and you can tell!It still has all the original door panels and armrest with nearly no ware ( yes ashtrays in the rear ones which are not reproduced) minimal ware on the brake pedal, and all exterior panels are original. No cutting here!Considering this car has been off the roads and was stored for 40+ years, it's like driving a time capsule.
I have gone through the engine and made sure it's in great condition and I've changed the points to electronic ignition for optimal performance (original distributor included). The transmission has been completely checked and a new filter and fluid has been installed.
It's first outing (2 hour round trip) to a car show it won spectaculars choice! It's not a concourse car but could be with a little work. Wouldn't be afraid to drive this beauty anywhere.
