Motorcar Classics is proud to present this outstanding 1954 Packard Model 5479 Convertible featured in Packard Yellow with Black leather interior and Black convertible top. This car has been shown at numerous AACA events and has been completely restored from the frame up. To make it an enjoyable tour car, it has been fitted with with air-conditioning. While the car retains it stock 6-volt configuration, the AC operates on a separate dedicated 12V battery and alternator. The Ultra-Matic transmission was rebuilt by an expert in 2015. The engine was rebuilt in 2012. It has a new carburetor to factory specs by Daytona Carburetor in 2016. This is one of only 863 packard convertibles built in 1954, and few survive. It is powered by Packards reliable 359 CI In-Line 8-cylinder motor. This Packard is in superb condition and everything on it works properly. It is truly a car you can drive or show with pride.
