1985 Ford Mustang Description:
This 1985 Capri Rs is a visually beautiful and rare car. The body of the car was refinished in a Jalapeño Red with a custom airbrushed hood. This car was featured in the 2012 edition of the Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine. Its power comes from a 13.1:1 408 stroker (351w) SBF with an eagle crank and rods with Ross Pistons. The engine also features a solid roller cam, roller lifter, and roller rockers. To finish it off, the engine is topped with Edelbrock Victor Jr heads (1.60/2.05) and a Victor Jr intake plumb with a Cold Fusion Nitrous direct port kit. The fuel is provided by a Magnafuel Pro 500 fuel pump, fuel log, and a 950 Holley Hp Carburetor. The car's engine isbacked by a Performance Automatic Super Comp C4 transmission with SFI-certified bellhousing, manual valve body,reverse pattern, trans-brake, and BTE 4,500 stall speed converter. An aluminum driveshaft transfers the power from the transmission to an 8.8 rear-end with 4.30 gears, Eaton differential, and 31 spline axles. The front suspension features UPR K-member and lower control arms with QA1 Coilover single adjustable struts with camber and caster plates. The rear suspension features Chassis Engineer upper and lower control arms with Anti-roll, Strange single adjustable shocks, sub-frame connectors, driveshaft loop, wheelie bar, and parachute. The car is rolling on HoleShot wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson (25/4.5/15) in the front and Mickey Thompson (275/60/15) ET Street Radial Pro in the rear; the rear rims are also beadlocked. This car's interior is just as visually stunning as the exterior of the car complete with Kirkey racing seats, factory rear seats, custom hatch divider, roll cage, all Autometer Pro Comp gauges, Painless switch panel, and an Automatic shifter solenoid hooked to a Hurst Quarter Stick shifter. The car features all MSD Performance electronics starting with the MSD 6AL ignition box, Rpm activated switch, two-step module selector, Rpm module selector, digital Multi-Retard, and crank trigger.This car has a clean title and includes two racing helmets along with a CoverCraft custom car cover.
