1979 Chevrolet G20 Van Shorty Description:

Rare 1979 Chevy Van (G20/G10 Shorty with camper conversion)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have invested over $7,500 into this van adding needed restoration items. I have to sell it because I have been unemployed for six months and I was just diagnosed with cancer. I have no way to pay for my medical expenses. I lose. You win. I've dropped the price by $2,000!! Money I lose and money I could use 🙁

Many people are watching- please make a bid? I need your help it is a win/win Thanks! 🙏

This is one badass van and it breaks my heart that I have to sell it but you are getting a good deal here!! This is a very rare 1979 Chevy van that will increase in value as soon as it becomes a classic in a few years. People who know vans know that the panel vans like this are very rare and worth more money when they have no windows like this one. It turns heads everywhere we go! People just love it. It has a nice straight body and never in an accident. We're looking for a new owner who can finish this restoration project and maybe even make this an awesome show van by painting it the original rootbeer brown color with copper flake and add a few really nice pinstripes. This van has huge potential and it's almost there. It just needs a real car guy at this point.

**** If you want to jump on in and use it now, it run's great and mechanic gave the V8 engine a good bill of health. He said he wouldn't rebuild it because there are no issues. =============================================================================================

What it still needs:
1. new door locks all around - drivers side door will lock from the inside only. 2. bushings 3. new front left bezel 4. parts for the dash still, we have a new dash that can be installed that goes with the van 5. New windshield would be nice as there is some pitting, scratches and the seals leak- an easy fix. 6. Gear shifter- has one that works but could use a new one 7. It has a new gas tank but fuel still isn't registering so someone who knows what they are doing can set it up. It would run great if you dropped a new crate engine in there.... it's a goal some day.

(Custom steam-punk inspired cabinet is not included in van purchase price All seat covers front and back are included. I tried to cover everything, if you have questions please ask.)

Odometer must have turned over. It reads in photo at a little over 45000 so we're guessing it's 145,000 miles?

Thanks for looking. All sales are final.

The new engine cover's utility cover will need brackets so that it stays on the engine cover. Currently it is taped. Please watch video. You can pause it at any time to see the van closer. There are some bubbles in the new paint, but this was meant to be just a primer until someone can put forth the cash it takes to take it down to the raw metal then re-paint.
