1993 Ford Mustang LX 2dr Description:

Up for bid...1993 Mustang LX.This is my car and all work was done by me.The car started life as a 4 cyl auto,fairly high optioned,not beat to death like most 5.0 cars.Absolutely no rust.The car was stripped to the bare body and rotated sideways,bottom totally cleaned,sub frame connectors installed and everything painted gloss black.The exterior was painted single stage urethane as was under the hood,trunk, and the back side of all the accessible panels.The exterior was sanded and polished,swirl removed to the mirror shine seen in the pics.The pics look good but the car looks better.The motor is a 1968 Lincoln 460 that was in excellent shape to start,was totally rebuilt.It has a fairly mild Comp cam with Dove Mfg roller rockers.Not radical but sounds wicked!C8 heads have mild porting, valves and seats resurfaced.Fairly high compression so premium fuel. Ed Torker 2 manifold with Holley 800 DP and shorty headers with Flowmaster 3 inch exhaust to the back.It has an aluminum radiator with a mechanical fan and an OEM shroud,huge trans cooler,never comes close to overheating.Has a large air cleaner modded by me and all this fits under a STOCK hood!The trans is a 4R70W 4 spd overdrive with a Bendsen adapter and a US Shift controller.The trans in totally rebuilt and bullet proof as you can get,600+ hp easy. The controller enables infinite shift points and any type of operation you desire with a click.No computer needed. Rear is 95 GT 8.8,3.73 gears,tubular control arms with Eibach lowering springs,caliper relocators and shorter axles so the wheels actually fit under the car. Has tubular K member with short QA1 a arms with coil overs,2001 GT calipers and rack,hydro boost brakes with a Toyota MR2 electric power steering pump.This car isn't the typical big block thrown in a Fox but much thought and prep was done to make this as original looking as possible.The interior has new seat upholstery with the rest excellent OEM.No after market parts are visible.Has a 92 GT gauge panel and everything works great.Air bag and sensors,controller are installed but disconnected as I didn't want the bag to accidentally blow and ruin the perfect steering wheel.Power windows,locks,ice cold air with cruise control all work great. I am a restoration guy at heart and tend to over do things which in evident in the car.seven12 4Nine0seven 2 ate nine It has never seen rain or snow,gravel,etc,has less than 100 miles since completed.New tires and wheels,5 lug. It goes down the road great and straight,suspension not over powering.Might be a little loud for me but I'm kinda old...Come and look!
