1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Description:

Up for auction is a well preserved ORIGINAL 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe time capsule. This car is a two owner, originally purchased in Blountville Tennessee from Fred Ford Auto Sales. The car has always been garage kept and well maintained.
The car comes with pictured original documentation which includes; Original Window Sticker, Dealer Sale Sheet, Motor Brochure, Mustang Brochure, 1966 Mustang Manual, Ford Driving Manual and the original envelope from Fred Ford Auto Sales in Blountville Tennessee.
The car has 122,400 miles, original straight 6, automatic transmission and is original down to the battery cables and shock tower bushings. The only exceptions are the hub caps and coolant reservoir. The car has the optional "Sprint 200" package.
There is one small area on the rear quarter that is thought to have been repaired/painted but was only noticed by an auto body professional who complimented the job that had been done. Also, there is some rust in the floor pan on the passenger (pictured) side but could be easily and cheaply fixed.
The master cylinder was recently replace and the car drives/stops well. It is a fun cruiser and I wouldn't be afraid to take it anywhere. It gets many compliments and catches a lot of attention wherever it goes. At shows it gets the attention of many professionals and judges who are surprised at how original the car is.
