1978 Ford F-250 Description:
I had started with a great truck, but i was on the pursuit of building my dream truck. It took 4 years of just tracking down the right truck and 10 years after the fact to build it to where it is now, endless hours to find parts, order parts, and endless trips to get screws, fasteners, bolts, and etc. All with the intent of keeping my dream truck, especially when it is basically a driver and not a trailer queen.
-following is a list of what it took to get the truck to this point
- paint & body, the correct way NO BODY PUDDY
- wheels & tires (20" wheels) (35's front, 37's rear) I also have matching 35's for rear
- motor- balanced and blueprinted 400 with Keith Black custom ground pistons (aprx 400 hp)
- all new glass and seals
- stainless steel brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank, and sending unit
- new carburetor
- Hedman performance headers (ceramic coated)
- new chrome and grill shell
- custom seats and door panels
- carpet
- new rear brake assemblies, seals, new calipers, pads, front bearings, and braided steel lines
- new SkyJacker lift and shocks, pitman arm and drag link
- new rear drive shaft
- powder coated shift levers
- front and rear differential covers, diff fluid
- new headliner with custom aluminum stripping
- new battery, high torque starter, alternator, power steering pump, voltage regulator
- new racetrack chrome
- new door seals
- new dash
- custom 2 1/2 polished stainless steel exhaust from headers to rear with powder coated Flowmasters
- After parts and labor the amount invested in to the truck is around $70,000
