1974 Other Makes Description:

1974 bricklin for sale this car runs and drives! this is a rare opportunity to own one of the Worlds most unique supercars!
designed and built by Malcolm bricklin in Canada with support from AMC .
this rare Gull-wing vehicle was only in production for two years.
The bricklin is not a kit car or a replica car it is a factory built rebuilt Gullwing Supercar design ahead of its time in the 70s.
In 1974 they were produced from the factory with the AMC 360 engine and automatic 3 speed.
In January of 1975 the design was changed to Ford running gear and they used a 351 Windsor
The first run 74 cars are the most rare and collectible!
Now the good....
Engine and transmission operate great although it could use new valve cover and exhaust gaskets.
The engine appears to be 100% Factory including the original carburetor with manual choke starts every time!
I'm not sure but I think a quick shift kit has been installed as there is very little space between the gears, but it stays in all the gears has plenty of torque and does not slip!
Linkage may need adjusted
The windshield is perfect!
The car needs a new master cylinder as the brake pedal feels hard although I have been driving it it it seems to take a lot of pressure on the pedal to stop the car quickly..
The car is complete the air compressor does work.
There is a leak in one of the airlines.
The accumulator tank is in good shape and holds air
I haven't tried to get the original air Rams for the doors to work but I did buy a remote control Electric set of rams that I have not installed I will include
As with most bricklins this one has its share of stress cracks.
Originally a Safety tan car, repainted safety green a long time ago.
When I got this vehicle last year it belong to a 75 year old gentleman who was in a nursing home at the time.
He bought it in the early 80s from a car lot in Las Vegas Nevada
His grandson attempted to steal the car out of storage from his grandfather and damaged the ignition switch and column
I have not replaced the steering column as of yet but have learned there are many that will work
I still drive the car but I had to hook up a toggle switch ignition and a push button starter works great all the original wires are there when you want to replace the column and ignition switch I didn't remove anything.
That's about all I can think of the car is old and unrestored.
The metal parts of the car are not rusted out the body is straight see see pictures of what damage there is.
Car has clear title in my name
I will accept PayPal or Bitcoin or ethereum as payment in full
