1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Description:

Up for auction is a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass "S" W31, one of 1029 produced and with special order paint color of "Rally Red". The car was painted in the late 90's and has held up exceptionally well and is an 8/10. Prior to my purchase it sat in a private collection for 12 years and was not driven. It retains all factory sheet metal "no reproduction fenders, doors,quarters, etc.The factory air induction hood is original and is in perfect condition.This W31 has been restoreed to be as close to stock as you can get, The options include the forced air induction hood, rear wing performance package, all factory tinted windows, black strato bucket seats, floor shift console with Hurst dual gate shifter, sport steering wheel, tic toc guages, am radio, under dash 8 track, T3 headlamps, and the front buckets and rear seat have been reupholstered.The engine compartment looks awesome! You'll see the correct #6 heads, aluminum intake manifol, and the correct Rochester "7040255" Quadrajet 4bbl carb, which has been rebuilt. i have replaced the water pump, thermostat housing, new hoses, belts, all new cooling/antifreeze, new fuel pump, master cylinder, refreshed the ram air cleaner assembly with new paint, foam, and vacumn actuator.Exterior as stated is 8/10 and there is no dents, dings, or scratch's . Original glass is in excellent condition and all chrome looks great. I installed Firestone Wide Ovals on the factory super stock ll's which i purchased from Coker Tire. Upon sale of the car the factory wheels will be reinstalled "picture of super stock ll's included" All striping on car is painted, no decals.All floor pans and trunk pans are in great shape, undercarriage looks awesome! There is a new gas tank and full stainless exhaust system from stock manifolds back. New Torque convertor and new gaskets on oil and trans pans, NO leaksTrunk compartment has been refreshed with new mat, splatter paint, and original spare with a Firestone Wide Oval and original jack and lug wrench included.All W machines were assembled in Lansing Mi and the data tag on the cowl states that and the paint code for special order paint. I do not have a build sheet, but everything on this W31 is what you could get with the package. Front and rear sway bars, boxed control arms, heavy duty cooling, anti spin rear axle for the W31 which is stamped TO and with 3:91 gears.I believe i have covered most specific points of this W31 and i have addtional photos available upon request, you can text me at 727-638-3955.
