1965 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS F-85 ORIGINAL 330 C.I. V-8 AUTOMATIC GREAT CRUISER

1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass F-85 V-8 330 c.i. Automatic Description:

Description: 1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass F-85 powered by its original 330 cu. in. V-8 rated at 320 h.p. and backed by a 2-speed “Jetaway-Hydramatic” automatic transmission. The actual mileage is approximately 85,000 and the car has had one repaint.

The Olds starts easily and drives great. It still retains the factory Rochester Quadrajet which does have a slight leak and should be rebuilt. Internally, the engine is stock. The only modifications are the dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers.

The interior is in excellent condition and has had new carpeting added along with the front seat being reupholstered. The factory gauges all function, and the radio is a ‘retro’ unit with AM/FM/USB. Original radio is included along with the factory 14” hubcaps.

The paint job is average with some sand marks here and there. Some of the trim has overspray, but the Olds does look good as a street cruiser. There is evidence of bodywork in both lower rear quarter panels and the lower section of the passenger door. Some bubbling on the lower section of the right front fender. The floors do have rust, but the frame appears solid.

Exterior Chrome is in fair to good condition. All windows go up and down easily and they show no cracks or stone chips.

The F-85 rides on 14” Olds Cutlass Super Stock II wheels with Cooper radial 225/70R/14 tires. The brake system is new including shoes, wheel cylinders and an upgrade to a power master cylinder.

In the way of leaks, the oil pan gasket probably needs to be replaced and the transmission has a small leak at the speedometer gear and rear seal.
