1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass STARFIRE Description:

Stored 32 yrs since parked in a metal building. Purchased recently from an estate from the owner's widow. Little is know other than the owners father owned a used car lot an collected certain cars he felt interesting. Since little was known the focus was inspect and put this vehicle in running condition.. The following was done: Carb. was dissembled & cleaned. New sparkplug wires, points, condenser, cap & roter were installed. The gas tank was removed & cleans, lines blown & flushed. Brakes were inspected and provided with new fluid. All other fluids were checked.. The engine now runs strong with an instant stop when turned off. No trace of engine smoke. Power steering turns at the touch of a finger....... On the negative side the water pump needs rebuilding. The interior is outstanding and remains completely original and should be considered "Spectacular." Perfect Dash The leather seats appear perfect along with the original carpet.. Door panels other than the lower carpet at the bottom of the left door are also perfect.. No rust is present anywhere. All major pot metal is pit free. A few minor items such as the top latches & ash tray lids has some specks No attention was given to the options. However during the described work, it was obvious the power windows & seat was functional.
