1962 OLDSMOBILE DYNAMIC 88 CONVERTIBLE

1962 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight STAINLESS Description:

1962 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 with rocket engine, clean title..needs restoration..was on its way to that but the owner passed away..found this in a barn here in Midwestern Wis...I am a farmer also..it appears this was getting ready for the engine to be pulled, as most lines are removed..but so to circumstances wasn't finished..I pulled the back seat out..solid steel rockers and tub..trunk was also solid..as is engine compartment..has a 394 high output engine..can't say if it needs rebuilding or not..is original and hooked up to the transmission..automatic transmission and when shifted in to neutral is was no issue's..no exhaust on this car..undercarriage only suffers from surface rust ..solid frame to the max ..some sheet metal needed behind the doors which doesn't look that bad...a buffing out would no doubt bring the blue out on this car..has two radiators that go with this..extra carbs..holey two barrels..believe there's a four barrel on it now..I have restored a couple of cars myself and know that this is a nice project..especially if you are a can do..the interior got wet once but dried out fairly well..no keys for the car but there not an issue..windows all good except the windshield..the pillar is excellent and the top latche's are perfect and hook up tight glass looks good too..driver's window I couldn't get up..its there okay..just off the track..very solid car can't say the rims are original..I just don't know...selling as is with no warranties other then what is shown gas tank looks fine.I'm pricing this car right with a clear tittle and bill of sale..back bumper will need straightening or replacing..all stainless is in good shape and present..dash is good..it took a lot of dirt and dust through the years..I cleaned it up the best I could..feel free to call me anytime..I am a farmer so I am in and outthis car has a lot of potential..the convertible frame is excellent and still shows its paint..there is a boot that fits over the top when down..it fits well into the area ..top needs replacing but that's minor..power top..and I can see the hydraulic cylinder in the trunk..believe it's hydraulic..I'm not a restoration specialist so I'm giving you the best description I can..my name is Dale Powers and I can be reached at 715 946 3632 home..cell 715 579 6816..got lots of pictures so if there's anything one wants to see please let me know..doors fit tight and both rockers are solid steel with no rust.. thank, and just contact me please if you have any questions..Car does not run..and the brakes are disconnected ...can load on a trailer here on the farm..good luck ..dale powers
