1971 Oldsmobile Other Delta 88 Description:

This vehicle waspurchased new by my Uncle in April of 1971. As a young adult I used todetail the car for him. About 16 years ago the car was passed on to me and I kept it in my garage for 12 years until I moved. I drove the car around the block occasionally in the summer. 4 years ago I moved and didn't have room in my garage, so I made the mistake of covering it with a tarp, thus you can see in one picture what happened to the paint on the roof. The car was never smoked in and is original. It has the Olds Rocket 350 Engine and the Turbo Hydra-Matic Transmission and with only 24K miles is hardly broken in. The car has no fluid leaks andeverythingis tight. Original owners manual included and original dealer invoice available. The car looks great as is, but would look exceptional with new paint. The dealer that sold the car had it undercoated by Ziebart. I had planned to completely restore this after retirement but have sincechanged my mind. The interior is in excellent shape. I don't claim this to be a show car, but it will be an amazing buy to some lucky bidder that understands its total worth/value.
