A brand new convertible roof and interior ensures that the inside matches the outside for quality. New door panels, front and rear ensure that everything matches. All the roof and interiorwork was carried out in the last month by the renowned specialist Shelby Trim of Sterling Heights.
Inside has all the luxury touches of the 442 model. It starts with the optionalbucket seats, continues with the woodgrain dash, center consul and door sides. The driver gets the sports steering wheel and there is a full set of new gauges including clock and tachometer combined.
The top comes down with just the flick of a switch but should you chose, the factory fitted and recently refurbished air conditioning will allow you stay cool on the warmest of days.
The original Olds radio is complimented by the factory fitted 8 track stereo, complete with many and various cassettes to allow for period listening when cruising those warm summer nights.
With this car comes not one but two sets of wheels and tires. The rare, colorkeyedand original stock N67 wheels with a set of brand new raised white lettering tires and a bonus Cragar chrome set in super shiny condition.
Any self respecting 442 must come with that iconic 455 V8, and this one does itself proud. Less than 3,000 since this unit wasfully rebuiltmeans many happy and trouble freemiles ahead. Enhanced with features such as a bored .30 over kit, Eagle racing camshaft, Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and Performer 455 intake, this motor certainly wont disappoint. Not only powerful but very well maintained, new wires, belt and hoses and even fitted with a new steering box and master cylinder. A fresh 3 speed Turbo Hydra-matic 400 transmission was installed when theengine was rebuilt. Built for cruising with power steering and front disc brakes - don't miss out, you know you want it!
