1991 Nissan D21 Description:

Red 1991 Nissan D21 hardbody compact truck. Clean title. Automatic. Still works (see condition notes). Engine is a KA24E, typical of this model. Truck bed measures 6.125 feet long by 4.91 feet wide. Vehicle was barely driven the last six years, especially the last two years, where it was basically taken to the post office and back a few times a week.Very little maintenance has been performed beyond oil changes and a brake fluid flush (last year). Probably not ideal for people who haven't worked on their own cars, or don't have the means to fix it. Condition: Exterior: Body seems solid. I used it to haul a bed-full of dirt several times with no problems. Significant cosmetic damage, including rust, and a cracked windshield. Very minor body damage. Driver's windshield wiper was replaced last month, but passenger one needs replacing. Driver's side front tire replaced a few months back, but the others are in need of replacing. Driver's side handle is broken off, but I have a replacement available. Interior: Manual windows are tough to open and close. Some broken vents. Passenger side sun visor is broken, and disconnected. No AC. Heater doesn't work; output is tepid at best. Speakers are blown, and only the right one kind of works. Speed dial is curved so that it points about 5 to 10 miles under actual speed. Tape player works, and comes with an adapter for portable devices. Seats and floor are worn. Interior dome light does not turn on (not sure if it's a bulb issue, or other). Seatbelt latches sometimes pop out if not sufficiently pressed into the buckle (just tug, and try again if it does--or replace them). Under hood: Windshield wiper fluid hose was severed, so the fluid doesn't move. Battery was replaced about three or so years ago, and functions great. Car drives around town, but seems to labor at highway speeds. Strange squeaking sound when raining that seems to affect driveability (maybe a belt slipping from the moisture?). Electrical: Seems sound. Blinkers and headlights work. However, I noticed when I turn the headlights on, the brake lights switch off.
