1951 Nash Ambassador Custom Description:
Offered is a 1951 Nash Ambassador 4 Door fastback. This car always puts a smile on my face just looking at it. I bought it from an older gent in my neighborhood about 5 years ago. I have driven it myself maybe 6 times. The engine runs so quietly you can almost not hear it and it shifts and drives good too. The paint is original and it looks it along with a few light surface rust areas. I hate the word but this is Patina at its best. The interior door panels were done long ago and are a little rough. The seat upholstery is original. The front is really rough and the rear is dirty looking. The car is very solid and is one of the first unitized bodies in the USA. But the driver floor area looks a little Swiss cheesy. I would not recommend driving this home. Use a trailer or a shipper. This car does run but the starter is out right now being reconditioned. Also the battery is 6volt 1 year old. I can deliver in the Northeast only for a fee. Delivery is responsibility of the buyer. Of course this car is sold as is. It is also being sold by a bill of sale not a title. Feel free to email any questions or call Doug 860-558-1810 Thank you for looking Also included are the 4 hubcaps, in the trunk, and another front grill that is not cracked like the one on the car, I also have the horn button.
