1986 Mini Classic Mini Chelsea Description:

1986 Austin Mini "Chelsea" Based on the Mini City; only 1500 were produced and fewer than 50 remain on the road.

Rust can be found in the areas common to Mini's. The Lower windscreen surround, inner and outer sills and floor pan are the worst areas.I have tried to show the extent of the rust in the photos.
Right Hand Drive
Motor and trans are in good shape and the car runs well. According to the previous owner the engine has a Mini Spares Stage 1 Kit including a 270' Kent camshaft, a ported and gas flowed cylinder head and centre exit RC40 exhaust.
Brakes need repair. Rear brakes have been replaced. Front brakes and master cylinder need some attention.
All electrical and lights work well. Interior shows normal wear, but overall is in good shape.
Sub Frames appear to be okay.

This will make someone an excellent restoration project or if you have a good body shell and need a donor car.The car has a clear title and I have all of the documentation showing the legal importation from the U.K.I simply have too many project cars and need to make some room.
